In May 2019. the Northern Council for Global Coopertion signed a four-year contribution agreement with Global Affairs Canada. More updates on this project comming soon!


NCGC works to develop awareness and understanding, and to encourage informed citizen action on global poverty issues, with targeted audiences across northern Canada.

NCGC also works to build capacity in public engagement at the national level in collaboration with the Inter-Council Network of Provincial/Regional Councils for International Cooperation (ICN).

NCGC supports the capacity-building needs of members and other key stakeholders through workshops, webinars, annual speaker series, Annual General Meetings and other events.
